The definition of the word “design” means to plan and to organize. When we say “it happened by design” we mean something was planned and did not happen by accident. We like to begin the design process with a discovery phase. Finding out what are the goals and objectives and all essential requirements as well as any competitive comparisons. What was successful in the past and what needs to be reworked? We then invite a brainstorming session including as many who will claim ownership to the project. The design process can be the most fun – why would we leave clients out? We begin the designs as rough sketches in black & white and then continue until we resolve the project with a visual solution. Most importantly, after the event we measure the project’s results.
